Dress Code

Clubhouse Attire

The required attire for gentlemen in the Clubhouse is best described as Club Casual – collared shirts and dress trousers in the winter season and equally appropriate attire for ladies. Shorts, if worn, must be of walking length. Smart long denim jeans are allowed, except in the River Room and Library during dinner service and for special family events such as Easter Brunch, Mother's Day Brunch, Santa Brunch, Ladies Holiday Luncheon and other similar special member events. Sport coats are appreciated but not required on gentlemen for dinner in the River Room and Library. Consistent with our current policy, the General Manager, Clubhouse Manager and Head Golf Professional are responsible for monitoring the Club’s Dress Code.

Proper Golf Attire

All persons using the Golf Course, including Practice Facilities and Range, must wear suitable attire and footwear. Acceptable attire for ladies includes slacks, golf shorts (mid-thigh length or longer), skorts or skirts, and a golf shirt or blouse. Yoga pants or leggings are only permitted if worn under an appropriate golf skort or skirt. Appropriate ladies’ crewneck tops, without a collar, are permitted. Acceptable attire for men includes slacks or golf shorts (mid-thigh length or longer), and golf shirts, which are encouraged to be tucked inside one’s trousers or shorts. Mock neck tops are permitted.

Unacceptable golf attire for the Course, including Practice Facilities and Range, includes gym shorts, athletic pants, cargo shorts, bathing suits, jeans or jean jackets, cutoffs, tank tops, tee shirts, halter tops, fishnet shirts, and short shorts. Soft spiked golf shoes or acceptable athletic shoes must be worn on the Golf Course, including Practice Facilities and Range. Flip flops and bare feet are not permitted on the Golf Course, including Practice Facilities and Range. As a reminder, spiked shoes are not permitted in the Clubhouse.

Cell Phones

While in the Clubhouse, Practice Areas or on the Golf Course, all cell phones must be on vibrate or silent. Conversations may only be conducted outside of the Clubhouse, away from the driving range, and only for emergencies on the Golf Course.

Smoking

Smoking is prohibited in the Clubhouse and on the front porch at all times, and on the deck during dining hours.

Smoking is permitted on the outdoor patio/lower terrace.
